What Household Tasks can I receive cover for?
Our Support workers can undertake a wide range of tasks in your home.
Household Tasks may include:
- Cleaning stovetops
- Tidying up your space
- Wiping down bench tops
- Cleaning and wiping of the fridges (inside & out)
- Dusting all hard surfaces
- Washing and drying all the dishes
- Changing and washing bed linen
- Routine vacuum cleaning of floors, mats, stairs and other surfaces
- Cleaning bathrooms including showers, baths and toilets
- Removing cobwebs and dust from ceilings, corners and skirting boards
- Vacuuming cushions and furniture
- Emptying rubbish bins and changing bin liners
- Mopping floors including tiled areas
- Polishing banisters, rails and other surfaces that have been previously cleaned
- Cleaning light fixtures and bulbs
- Vacuuming under sofas, beds, desks and other furniture
- Watering indoor plants as requested
- Feeding pets as agreed to in consultation with the client
- Laundry services including washing, drying and folding clothes where appropriate
- Ironing clothes with client preferences if needed
- Cleaning and wiping windows
- Replacing light bulbs as necessary
- Clearing out fridge/freezer when requested by the client
- Cooking and prepping of meals when requested, if pre-arranged
- Getting groceries bought on your list when requested
